Have you ever wonder why your gas oven does not work? Well, here is why.
This oven component is called an oven ignitor. It may be round or square. If you turn on your oven and the oven does'nt lite, then chances are that your oven ignitor is bad. It should have a strong white glow. If the glow is weak and yellowish, then change it and you should be fine. You should get at least 3.3 to 3.8 amps on a square ignitor and 2.5 to 3.0 amps on a round ignitor.
